So basically it comes down to this... some things in life, you don't sign up for. Right now, I am living the college life. Some parts are intentional and some parts are me being pulled along by my hair. Enjoyable? Sometimes and then other times you just want to shave your damn head. I've realized over the past couple weeks, life is going to happen whether I want it to or not. A couple weekends ago we spent the night trying to take care of 5 or 6 drunk people. I kept thinking to myself, I didn't sign up for this. However, I also didn't sign up for the best things I have encountered. When you send in your college application, you don't sign up for nights you barely remember or for sleepovers (matresses included). You don't sign up for becoming best friends with some of the most amazing you will ever met. Shower parties? No. Parties in general? Probably not. Reliving memories other people can't remember? Nah. Skipping classes? Not if your parents are asking.
You may not have signed up for it but it happens. Whether you are getting pulled by your hair or intentionally going along, you are living. So remember, just keep living. It is all worth it in the end.

SS?
So, this is my first post. I am not exactly sure what I am doing yet, so hang in there. You may be wondering what the SS means- I'll get there... promise. So I realized today that people never cease to amaze me but I guess that comes along with college. First off let me remind you that it was WEDNESDAY. Not Friday or even Thursday, it was WEDNESDAY. At 2 in the morning I was woken up to some drunk girl screaming across the street. She lovingly shared her life story with me and everyone else within 10 blocks of her. I would normally be interested but not after being woken up after only 2 hours of sleep. She proceeds to call someone and then falls directly into the street. After about 30 minutes of screaming the person she called 1000 times comes out of the house she is standing in front of. Where was he 30 minutes ago? Some knight in shining armor she has. It may seem like all I am doing is complaining and this may be true for this post. I promise it won't happen all the time. The reason for all of this is coming. I’ve realized one thing about college in the past 3 months. There is one phrase for college life and the people in it. One phrase that sums up about 50% of the things you see and sometimes even experience. It usually is accompanied with awkward dance moves and proclaiming your love from someone you just met. The SS? Shitshow. Welcome to college.
